Long COVID-19 Bus

Service Information

For some people, coronavirus (COVID-19) can cause symptoms that last weeks or months after the infection has gone. This is sometimes called post-COVID-19 syndrome or “long COVID”. Many people feel better in a few days or weeks and most will make a full recovery within 12 weeks. But for some people, symptoms can last longer. Some of the common symptoms of long COVID can include:

  • Extreme tiredness (fatigue)

  • Shortness of breath

  • Chest pain or tightness

  • Problems with memory and concentration (“brain fog”)

  • Difficulty sleeping (insomnia)

  • Heart palpitations

  • Dizziness

  • Pins and needles

  • Joint pain

If you find yourself identifying with any of the mentioned categories and would appreciate an opportunity to connect with the Long Covid Team, they will be conveniently available onsite at Southend East PCN, situated at the inviting Norton Place, 162 Ness Road, SS39DL, on the following dates:

Tuesday 23rd April 10am to 2pm

Tuesday 21st May 10am to 2pm

Tuesday 18th June 10am to 2pm - this has been cancelled due to staff sickness.

Tuesday 16th July 10am to 2pm

Tuesday 13th August 10am to 2pm

Tuesday 10th September 10am to 2pm
